La materia como pretexto es una serie de piezas que exploran lo materico como parte del planteamiento de mi obra. Son exploraciones, experimentos con la forma y el uso del registro como recurso final de la obra. Esta serie la inicie al terminar mi periodo de formación como estudiante en la Escuela de Artes, en que lo aprendido en el mundo académico no satisfacía mis necesidades y exploraciones con el arte; por lo tanto la definición mas acertada para estos proyectos es que son un periodo de transición hacia el tipo de obra que realizaría después. 

Matter as a pretext is a series of pieces that explore the material as part of the approach of my work. They are explorations, experiments with form and the use of registration as the final resource of the work. I started this series at the end of my training period as a student at the School of Arts, when what I learned in the academic world did not satisfy my needs and explorations with art; Therefore, the most accurate definition for these projects is that they are a transition period towards the type of work that would be carried out later.
